Myself and friends stayed for a couple of nights during a short fishing trip. We found the hotel a very welcoming, quirky and spotlessly clean place. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the food was top quality and cooked to order. This is probably the best value Hotel I’ve stayed in almost forty years of travelling around the country on fishing trips. The only two slight downsides are insufficient on site car parking for guests and the hotel is a cashless, card only place, the latter of which did cause me some initial inconvenience. That aside I would definitely come back to the Rutland Arms and myself and my friends would like to give all the staff a big thank you for great customer service and we’ll definitely be back.
