The Rutland Arms Hotel, Bakewell

"Poor customer service"

We are regular visitors to the Rutland and we eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately the service yesterday was worse than poor. I had to find someone to tell them that we had arrived and after approximately 15 minutes we had to ask if we could place an order.
On a positive side the food was excellent, but unfortunately we needed to ask someone for the bill as we were left waiting again
