"Could be a lot better with a good service improvement "

Food on the Menu was varied, concise, well prepared and tasty - no complaints. Portion sizes were good. However the portion sizes of the Mains maybe deemed rather large for some diners. The Cheese Board though as a desert was pitiful and not worth the money for what was included - even described by the waitress as being too expensive for what it was. Staff were not very professional and/or incredibly accurate. On arrival we asked for 3 separate flavours of Gin and Tonic and when the order arrived the waitress did not know which was which and so we were left to try and work out our own drinks by trying them all individually! The Red and white wine were lovely - although the Red Wine had to be taken away to be opened by another member of staff and arrived back at the table with the wrapping all messy around the top. We were left to pour our own wine! We ordered 2 Spiced Rum and Cokes at the end of our meal and these were brought to the table by the waitress who was unsure as to whether they were spiced rum or not and then promptly went and sniffed them before putting them on the table for us. Finally several times we heard the waitresses shouting orders/requests whilst going into and when in the kitchen all diners could have heard this.
