"Friendly, approachable staff"

We booked a table for the evening of our arrival on holiday in the village. The staff were lovely, some of the younger members of the team weren't too confident in answering questions about the menu, but they had a very good stab at it! All of the food was amazing, the only slight disappointment was the depth of the creme brulee, which would have been better made in a narrower receptacle, the topping was fab but the content had overcooked slightly. Still, all of the rest of the food and drink was very enjoyable, especially the cheese fritters and courgette fritters and fillet and feather of beef. Very enjoyable evening and thoroughly recommend...
