"Beautiful Norfolk Pub "

Holidaying in Norfolk , we chose to dine here as we wanted a lovely Sunday roast. We passed the pub which beautifully stood out in a quiet little village we drove through earlier in the week. We booked online, and there was limited availability.
We booked our table in the restaurant, on arrival we were served drinks from the bar , then took a while for us to be seated. A little disappointed as was hoping for full waited service from arrival. We ordered 3 Adults roast of the day which was gammon, 1 children's gammon , 1 children's roast beef.
Presentation was 10/10 , however the beef was cooked medium to rare , very chewy, my 10 year old struggled to cut it and didn't eat any more beef after the first mouthful.
The gammon was only just cooked , and looked raw. The gammon was cut thick on 3 plates , and thin on one of the adults.
Coming from a hospitality background, if we had been informed on the meat beforehand we would have chosen different dishes. The gammon was left and not eaten.
The cost of the adults roast of the day was double the childrens price , the only difference was an extra roast potato , full Yorkshire and an extra slice of meat.
4 out of 5 of us left hungry for another Sunday lunch.
I'm aware that each chef will cook meat to their own specifications, but the meat was pretty undercooked , especially for the children.
