"Disappointing "

Venue was lovely and staff pleasant. However, once seated for our meal, we weren’t asked if we would like more drinks, had to ask for cutlery for our main course, had to ask for condiments as nothing was offered and had to go looking for staff to do this. The main meal, crab linguine was swimming in way too much sauce which overwhelmed the taste of the crab. On paying we were asked if everything was ok, we didn’t really know where to start without sounding awful or spoiling our evening further by complaining.
