The Swan Hotel, Stafford

"food was delicious , service was very slow "

we love the swan ar stafford the food is delicious so decided to treat the kids to an end of summer holiday afternoon tea . we did arrive early so our fault , we stopped a passing waitress and said we had arrived . she asked us to wait on the corridor part for five minutes . 35 minutes later she fetched us in ( this was after i had asked someone else ) we were seated at a lovely table and asked what drinks we would like , we ordered drinks not food didn't come out for a good twenty five minutes later by which time the kids were fed up , there's only so much i spy you can do , as i say the food was delicious can not be faulted but just on this occasion service was lacking , i took the service charge off the bill which is something i never do x
