"Festive Afternoon Tea"

We chose to host a colleagues Baby Shower at The Swan on the 8th December, i booked 10 festive afternoon teas. The area we were seated in was private which was great. As a group we have used this venue before and never had any issues. I understood when making the booking we only had the table for 2 hours as it was needed for evening service. We were all seated by 4.45pm however the food did not arrive until 5.30pm giving us only an hour left. We had to chase our waitress for the drinks on more than one occasion. The food was ok except the chocolate cups that were so hard they were inedible. When it came to the bill, we were charged for drinks that did not arrive and it had to be amended three times. Overall the experience felt rushed due to the delay in the food coming out and having to chase for drinks.
