The Swan Hotel, Stafford

"Very substandard special lunch"

Have been having a Christmas meal at The Swan for years - previously always satisfied hence the return visits. This year booking was not straightforward; the meal was indifferent with the main course appalling - meat sliced too thick and the vegetables variously burned or nearly raw. Did not complain on the day for fear of upsetting the event but on the basis of this experience will not be returning in the future.
