The Swan Hotel, Stafford

"Poor service "

Afternoon tea for Mother’s Day, upon arrival we were told it came with unlimited hot drinks but was only asked once by staff if we wanted a drink, we had to take it Upton ourself to find the staff and ask them for another drink.
Another table next to us also had the same issue and were sat waiting for drinks
Staff were also stood around talking between themselfs in a group of 3 laughing when I mentioned this in a email to the Swann it was dismissed and I was told the staff wouldn’t act like that
I also requested space for a pushchair well in advance only to arrive and be put at the table next to the step everybody as to use to get up and down to the floor even though there were other tables free that we could of be seated at

Poor service
Staff not attentive
It’s ashame because I really like going to the Swann but feel I was let down this time and the money we paid didn’t warrant what we got
