"I won't be going there again!"

The new menu recently introduced is very limited in choice, for example, only one type of steak now and no mushrooms anywhere to be seen with any dish. The food was served on cold plates and my meal, sea bass with penn pasta and garden vegetables, was presented poorly, the pasta having gone cold around the edge of the plate. The "garden vegetables" consisted of a small piece of cucumber about the size of a sugar cube and some equally small rings of leek, the main vegetable, mange-tout was plentiful and cooked to my liking.
The waitress service was quite excellent, the young lady most helpful and attentive in my opinion and my colleague too.
It seems that whoever is in charge of the text on the till receipt needs to learn the difference between "Brassiere" and "Brasserie" as the receipt shows the former, attention to detail lacking here too.
So, not a very good dining experience this time, so sad after many visits over the years and enjoying the fine food, but no more it seems.
