The Swan Hotel, Stafford

"Rather disappointing"

Having experienced a lovely weekend at another coaching inn at Ledbury I thought to take a party of 4 to my local coaching inn - The Swan. We were booked in at 5.30pm and had to wait 60 mins for our main meal - none of us had starters. We weren’t told why there was such a delay and we’re only given a perfunctory apology. Two of our main courses were the sea bass - I believe £22. For that we received pasta, mange tout and a sea bass fillet together with a white sauce. It was really disappointing and not to the standard expected at a coaching inn.
