"Good but very slow service "

We visited on a Saturday evening at 20.15, the restaurant was not that busy and most people seemed to have had or ordered main courses already. The food itself was lovely. My only down side was service was awful, we waited an hour for our main course without being told prior that there was such a long wait for food. No one came over to offer further drinks so we had to go to the bar to do so. There was no one around to ask for the bill so we had to go up to the till to pay.
