"Disappointing and overpriced"

Very mixed stay. Public rooms nicely furnished, bedroom was adequate but dull and had no fridge. Dinner - main course very good, dessert was terrible, was supposed to be a fruit crumble but the fruit was too tart and it was topped with breakfast cereal. The breakfast was also poor. The eggs and bacon were undercooked and the toast arrived dumped on the plate and was over cooked. The ‘continental’ selection had no cheese or meat and would have benefited from a nice fruit salad. There was no plate or cutlery for the toast .
