"Food average, Staff awful."

Wow, we haven't been for a few months and it seems to have gone really downhill. We booked for 11 and it was a nightmare from the off, booking was awful, had to preorder food which was a pain trying to get everyone's orders and struggled to get anyone to answer the phone and take the preorders.
When we arrived we had already preordered so thinking it would be quick! Service was so slow and the Staff were the most unenthusiastic staff I have ever come across, I asked for bottled water instead of tap and the girl looked at me like I was a moron. Considering its meant to be a nice place, the staff were so poor. I've been aston marina many times and fancied a change but in future I will stick with Aston Marina, the Staff there could not do enough for you!!
The food was mediocre, personally I had the Creamy mushroom starter which was huge and the bread was dry and salty with a tiny bit of mushrooms in comparison to the massive bread portion. Chicken Tagine was nice with lovely bread but Vegan terrine which my daughter in law had just came with no bread at all!! I tasted my daughters Chicken Goujons and they were overcooked and vile. So disappointed!
