The Swan Hotel, Stafford
Paul Howard
"Good table service but some dishes were disappointing."
One starter, mackerel, consisted of the smallest imaginable sliver of mackerel with a small accompaniment of leaves - not much for £9.00. The mains were OK - my Ceasar salad lacked dressing and was served with too much chicken. My wife's butternut squash salad was good except for it being roasted with the skin on.
We were disappointed to be told that the menu will not be revised until September.
