The Swan Hotel, Stafford

"Lovely food…but noise was unbearable "

As a Stafford resident, I often eat at The Swan - sometimes with my husband, sometimes with my children but most often, with my friends. My daughter and I always order the continental breakfast but I was disappointed to see it was no longer on the menu, alas I ordered a Full English instead (which was delicious!). I booked in advance and was seated in the café area opposite the counter. There is a particular appliance which is extremely noisy and at our earliest opportunity (after finishing our food), my friend and I moved into the other eating area. There, the staff were inconsiderately noisy - having loud (mostly work-related) conversations amongst themselves which disrupted my own conversation with my friend. The lady sat with her dog near us also commented that it was annoying and she left promptly. Such a shame, as I usually enjoy the dining experience at The Swan.
