"Great atmosphere, great price, just lacked a bit of "festiveness""

Booked in for the festive afternoon tea for 4 people. Did have some dietary requirements, ans had to make a.slight adjustment at short notice, all my own fault, but handled well by staff. Table laid out with crackers and the atmosphere was great. Tea and coffee came out, as much as we wanted, and then the sandwiches, cakes, scones and a lemon moose. All looked delicious and we happily tucked in. The "festive" part of the afternoon tea seemed to be a mince pie and piece of Christmas cake. I think there could have been much more adapted to become festive eg turkey and cranberry sandwich, maybe a pig in blanket/pastry option instead of one of the cakes.
Overall we did enjoy ourselves. We werent pushed to finish, in fact we sat for 2 hours chatting and drinking tea.
Staff were very friendly and we will be back.
