The Bell Inn Hotel, Stilton

"Great hotel experience ruined by noise!"

To set the scene… It’s past midnight on Saturday 20th of January 2024 and the noise coming from the people next to us in room 33 is getting even louder. We aren’t sure if this is a bedroom or part of the restaurant but it’s absolutely impossible to sleep with the noise.

I’ve tried to call reception but had no response so went down to find nobody there and a sign pointing me towards the bar across the courtyard. I went outside and this was locked.

Eventually I found someone and asked them to intervene - probably rudely for which I apologise - but it seems nothing was done or no notice was taken.

Not at all happy and still having to listen to the noise. Unbelievable.

Everything else - room, food, staff, were all great but if you want a good night’s sleep maybe look elsewhere.
