"Lovely cakes & mostly great, some disappointment"

I booked the afternoon tea for me and my daughter as a treat for her, and after reading the description online with the children’s squash being served in a teapot, I thought it would be perfect and feel really special for her.
The waitress took our drinks order, however, the squash came out in a normal glass. When I asked about the teapot, she said ‘oh I can do, some people prefer it in a glass’. When the description on the website says it gets served in a teapot, I think that should just be standard, she didn’t offer to take it away and put it in a teapot.
The cakes were absolutely delicious. The only fault I would say about the adult afternoon tea was that the ham and salmon sandwiches were plain rather than having a mayo or cream cheese in them, which made them a bit dry.
Overall, it was a good experience, I would just suggest making sure all the staff know about the requirements for each afternoon tea option. And maybe ask the customer if they want different.
