The Bell Inn Hotel, Stilton

"Disappointing"

Myself and partner reserved a bar table for 12.15 and arrived slightly early. My partner's meal was fine but mine was not. I ordered Steak Fritas, medium and Stilton sauce.

When it arrived, I poured the sauce over the meal and found it to be Peppercorn. Cutting to steak I found that to be rare really. Due to the time constraints we had because of our personal circumstances, I did not have time to complain and have a fresh meal. We were never approached by the waitress until we had finished anyway, so no check to see if all was OK.

I also felt the side salad was more a garnish portion.
