"Friendly helpful staff, delicous food and nice rooms"

Good location for the A1 but on a nice quiet road. Historic coaching inn with a bar qnd bistro downstairs and a galleried restaurant upstairs for weekends and breakfasts. Nice menu. The calves liver was cooked to perfection. The breakfasts too.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
