The Bell Inn Hotel, Stilton

"Characterful Inn & Hotel"

A lovely traditional inn with lots of character.
Very clean and comfortable, although our room was rather small and lacked surfaces to put things. It was ok for a one night stay but would have been cramped if staying longer. For the price I would have expected a larger and slightly better equipped room.
Breakfast was good with a choice of cooked options but some fruit, rather than just fruit juice would have been a good addition.
Dinner was good and the venison excellent and well cooked. The trout was slightly overcooked.
Staff were consistently friendly and helpful.
Overall a good stay .
