The Bell Inn Hotel, Stilton

"After many visits, not the best this time. "

Sunday was the probably the 6th time (possibly more) I have visited The Bell Inn, Stilton for a social visit with friend for food. 3 times have been for afternoon tea, and 2 have been roasts, this visit was not as nice as the last 4. Although the roast beef and chicken dinners were lovely, the pork however wasnt. Whilst the meat itself looked lovely, it had the thickest fatty skin around it which could have been perfect crackling!
Service was very slow, and I waited almost 30 mins for a drinks order. It was a busy Sunday as all tables were taken, I wrongly assumed they would schedule staff to cope with that. I also had to ask for glasses for the table water, along with salt and pepper cruet set.
