The Golden Lion Hotel, Eatery and Coffee House, St. Ives

"Very poor will not be staying again."

There was mistake with our booking even including the confirmation email which I flagged up at the time. On arrival only 1 room had been reserved but we had paid for 2! They gave us a room which was a downgrade on what we paid for but did not tell us. I questioned this and only then did they refund the difference. It was a Sunday and we ate in the restaurant. It was by far the worse roast dinner I have ever had and all four of the party did not finish there food because of the poor quality. Breakfast was also just as poor and we were all unable to finish out food. The whole stay was a complete disappointment.
