"Saturday lunch "

Sorry to say my review isn’t good on this occasion. The dining areas were reasonably busy but our food took almost an hour to arrive. My poached eggs on avocado toast were cold but I ate it. My husbands steak sandwich was pink inside (too raw) . It was recooked but when it came back some of the other bits were missing. The fish and chips were bland and our other chicken dish was a bit average too. Really disappointed as we have always relied on the golden lion in the past.
