The Golden Lion Hotel, Eatery and Coffee House, St. Ives

"Would be 5 stars but…."

Smashing place to stay. St Ives is a lovely town and the Golden Lion is right in the heart. Room was lovely with a comfy bed. Really warm, but a fan was provided. Spotless.

However … service from the kitchen was slllloooooowwwww we waited 45 minutes for mains at dinner, which were only just warm when they arrived and a similar wait at Breakfast. I can only imagine there being some kind of issue in the kitchen.
