"Very disappointing "

Lovely friendly waiting staff, let down by the kitchen. Despite the restaurant being quiet, our food had still not appeared over an hour after ordering. The waitresses were very apologetic and told us it was something to do with a trainee, and that they had already chased the kitchen and raised the issue with management. When the food eventually arrived, all three of our meals were dry, over-cooked and almost cold (the two hanging kebabs were burnt black, and the sausages had been reheated). Other diners appeared to be experiencing similar issues. We were offered complimentary coffee to compensate, but as this is the third time we've been very disappointed with the quality of the food in recent months, we will not be returning. Such a shame as it always used to be a lovely local venue for us.
