"Great good"

We have been here before..fantastic food, lovely decor and nice friendly atmosphere. We booked online for 8.15pm the table times given also had some later times...We arrived and was greeted by a young smart looking young lady..whom asked us if we had booked to which we gave our names...the young lady found our booking and then said you need to order quickly as the kitchen is closing.. what a pub closing the kitchen at this time...I mean honestly....I replied shall we order here now then as the menus were right in front of us. The young girl glared at me and then lead us to our table...this has now put a real damper on our planned evening. We ordered quickly. Our food came out..this was very well presented and hot and tasted amazing? ( 10 out of 10) we then were asked if we wanted a dessert which we did. This again was very tasty...then we were asked did we want anything else to which we replied no thank you. We then waited and waited and waited for the bill ...which never came. Eventually we had to make reception aware we needed to pay. The young lady had disappeared... gone home?
.it's a shame this lovely place was let down by this experience
