"A little disappointing "

We booked online. When we arrived we were unsure of where to go so waited in reception. Eventually someone came and we explained we had a table booked. We were shown to our table promptly. However, it wasn’t until sometime later when no one had come to give us any menus that we asked a couple sitting a the next table if they would cube coming with menus. They explained that menus were at the bar and that you ordered from the bar. I feel this should have been explained when we were shown to our table. We hadn’t been before so were unaware. The Sunday chicken roast which was nice my wife had the vegetarian option which she felt lacked flavour.
