The Golden Fleece Hotel, Thirsk

"A great location."

The bustling market square in Thirsk has many interesting aspects with cafe's, restaurants, pubs and shops. AND it is only a 4 minute walk to the property where vet James Herriott lived and practiced. It is now an excellent museum with lots of nostalgia of a bygone period in the 20th century.

We had a room overlooking the square, lovely.
