"Great Sunday Lunch "

We were looking for somewhere to eat on the way home after a day out. It was so easy to book a table online and being a Sunday parking was free in the Market Place. Though there’s a guest car park to the rear of the Hotel. We were pleased to learn that Sunday roasts beef and pork were still available (at 7pm) in addition to the usual menu. The four of us opted for the roast pork which came with roast and mashed potato, carrot, parsnip, creamed leeks, Yorkshire pudding, gravy and a nice crisp piece of crackling. The pork was very tender and the whole meal was very tasty. We shared two puddings between us, a chocolate cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and a sticky toffee sundae which finished the meal off nicely. Service throughout the meal was friendly and efficient.
