"Poor food at expensive prices"

The positives
The waitress was extremely good and professional
My meal was okay but not exceptional, my husbands of fish, tasteless and with bones
( meant to be fillet).
We eat out regularly - usually 2 mains and one glass of wine.
Usual cost is £40,on this occasion it was £49.37, a significant difference
We need to be in Thirsk every 4 weeks but sadly will need to find somewhere way better for lunch
