The Golden Fleece Hotel, Thirsk

"Beautiful setting"

The hotel dining room is very nicely decorated, there are comfortable chairs and tables. The service is very good too, friendly and polite staff. The food was not of my liking: I had the trout fillet and the dish was just a heap of greens with some ravioli, covered in what I discovered was dried samphire rather than the fresh one. The value for money is quite poor and we left rather disappointed.
