The Royal Wells Hotel, Tunbridge Wells

"Great Hotel, Great Team just a shame about other guests"

The Hotel is lovely, the food is outstanding and the team cant do enough for you. The rooms are also nice with everything you need for the stay. Beds are comfy and good quality pillows as well. a few things could do with renewing but only minor.

my main issue i had despite all the great things was a group of 30 school children on a trip for 3 nights at the same time as my 2 night stay. the children were running up and down the corridors banging on each others doors and having the time of their lives which made me think i was actually staying at a youth hostel and not a boutique hotel in Tunbridge wells!

The Manager did speak with them and the teachers gave them a good stern talking to as well but they are kids and kids will be kids!

so whilst i enjoyed the stay and would love to return i would be nervous to do so if having 30 kids on a school trip is a regular occurrence at the hotel.

I think the hotel needs to decide what type of hotel they want to be as this let down my experience.
