"Excellent food and service"

Booked this while visiting the area and the offer of free 2 course meal for my birthday was very tempting !
I expected there to be a limit on choice from the menu for such an offer but no.... I could have anything off the menu !
I didn't choose the most expensive, I chose the liver. It was absolutely delicious and very well presented. For dessert I chose the cheesecake and again it was delicious.
The waitress was very busy serving but was very cheerful doing it so I left her a generous tip.
