The Royal Oak Hotel Eatery & Coffee House, Welshpool

"Excellent Sunday lunch"

My wife and I were in Welshpool to visit a friend in hospital and had travelled from Leicester. We'd pre-booked Sunday lunch. The choice was excellent - my wife had the pork and I had the beef. Both were tender and tasty, well presented and the quantity was more than adequate without being overfacing. We both cleared our plates. I had an excellent apple and raspberry crumble with custard.
