The Royal Oak Hotel Eatery & Coffee House, Welshpool

"Good staff, food ok."

Staff where very helpful and attentive. Unfortunately the food let it down. We ordered a camembert in sourdough loaf. Cheese was over cooked so dry and not oozing. Yorkshire pudding bites where dark brown and overly crispy. Roast beef gravy lacked flavour. The Aubergine Parmigiana was tasty.
We have eaten sandwiches in the bar several times prior to this visit and have had no complaints with this.
