"Hiccup with allocation for family party of six"

Booked in advance for a table with sufficient room for four adult guests, a toddler and a large puppy.
Followed up this on line booking with a phone call as per the T&C.
Arrived on time only to be informed and asked to wait that the table allocated has been taken by a party of two.
Whilst the staff were polite it was awkward for six bodies to appear loitering in the bar area while another table was prepared.
Other minor observations, there was no obvious place to park the pushchair. There was no high chair at the table. A child's menu needed to be asked for. Requesting the bill took too much effort and in the end I went to the cashier.
