"Very Poor "

Decided to visit for dinner as we had dined here before in 2021 and was happy with everything.
Was very disappointed in our visit this time firstly after given our table the waitress took 10 minutes to take our drinks order then another 10 minutes to take our food order . So finally after 20 minutes we got our drinks .
We did notice that 2 tables had come in after us and it was made known they were regular customers and were looked after before us which not acceptable as we are all paying customers.
When the food finally arrived the pork on my roast dinner was not acceptable it was just fatty slices of meat with soft crackling , also the roast potatoes were uncooked.
By this time we had different member of staff looking after us , a male guy who was very rude . When told about the meal he said all the pork was like that didn’t offer a replacement or give an apology or anything.
I knew the waiter was incorrect because the table next to us had pork and they could see there was an issue with my meal and said there pork was not at all like mine and also had crackling on top of the meat which had been missed off mine too.
We bought along my 5 year old granddaughter who was good as gold throughout the long drawn out procedure of a meal sat and coloured with her books very quietly . We ordered her a pudding and has he was taking the order my granddaughter got out of her chair to sit with mummy instead of next to me the waiter came out with the most ridiculous comment ( oh she’s a bit hyper isn’t she) . I just looked at him shocked and just said please can you bring the bill with the pudding .
He brought the pudding with the bill and said there’s a 10% service charge on there which can be removed. I said because of the poor service and food then please remove the service .
15 minutes later we had to ask for the bill to be given back to us so that we could pay .
So we definitely will not be rushing back here again which is such a shame compared to our first visit .
