The Admiral Rodney Hotel, Horncastle

"The food looked better than it tasted! "

Initially impressed by the hotel and the well presented, courteous staff. We were 15 minutes early so ordered 2 elderflower lemonades but waited 15 minutes for them to arrive. The afternoon tea arrived and looked wonderful, unfortunately we were disappointed when we tasted it. The sandwiches were obviously brought to us straight from the fridge, the scone was warmed up and very dry, the bakewell slice fell into tiny crumbs when we tried to eat it. All in all it was very disappointing.
