"Perfect Sunday "

Having enjoyed our wedding party here almost 17 years ago, we thought we’d return to see how it’s changed and we are so glad we did. The restaurant is beautifully laid out and extremely comfortable. My daughter is wheelchair dependant and access was good. She also appreciated being asked what she wanted directly, something which is shockingly rare. There was a very relaxed attitude to ordering and the whole meal took around 2 hours from start to finish and it was delicious. The Sunday roast was plentiful and looked fabulous, the fish and chips was enjoyed and the hot dog was very well received. I had the mussels in classic cream and garlic and I honestly have never tasted them better. They were perfectly cooked and, although the broth was a tiny touch too salty, I could have eaten them all day. Absolutely cannot recommend highly enough and I think we have found our new monthly treat. Wonderful service, wonderful ambience, wonderful food. Thank you very much indeed.
