"Mediocre meal"

Had Sunday lunch and although the starters were good, the main course of roast beef beef was no better than a chain pub carvery. My wife asked for rare and I asked for well done. Both meals were the same and the meat tasted overdone. The vegetables were small in portion size with the carrots being rock hard. Having previously used this hotel for coffee and sandwiches , and really enjoyed that, this meal was a great disappointment
