The Swan Hotel, Stafford

"Worth the wait?"

Sunday dinner - hot tasty food, nicely presented and generous portions. However the meals were very slow to come out which spoiled the experience somewhat. Although the room is lovely with the big window overlooking the high street , the restaurant lacked atmosphere and no sense of the history of the building.
Arriving 10 minutes early for our table earned us a telling off and we were, in other words,told to go away and come back at the alloted time - not impressed.
Not sure we will return anytime soon.
