The Swan Hotel, Stafford

"Wonderful stay at The Swan"

My husband and I loved staying at The Swan overnight en route back home from a wedding in Scotland. We must have been ungraded as, having paid for a standard double room, we found ourselves in the deluxe double with very comfortable four poster, huge bay windows overlooking the street and every convenience we could possibly need, which was so truly appreciated after a challenging and tiring week of continual travel and stays in much less comfortable places elsewhere. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, our room was immaculate with such a kind welcome note from the housekeeping staff; food was delicious, breakfast enormous and our only disappointment was that we were only able to stay for one night. The Swan will definitely be our go-to place next time in Stafford.
