"Poor "

Food wasn’t great, very dry terrine, and dry Christmas pudding and not much custard, along with small portions.
The service was good, but the Christmas atmosphere lacking.

We asked when booking for a table by window-assured we would have one reserved- confirmed this when paying balance and told when we arrived the table wasn’t available so they sat us next to the entrance to the toilets; the table by the window remained empty during the whole time we were there. Seems like a small thing but spoilt the day for us, and had we known we wouldn’t have booked.
