"Disappointing"

The hotel is full of character. We had one evening meal, 3 breakfasts. Coach party of 40 was given as reason for any issues. Is this acceptable? It’s a hotel! Sunday roast was a bit like school dinner: overcooked, sad veg and swimming in gravy. Very little left at breakfast on buffet, no marmalade, hard bacon. Felt a bit like we got leftovers. Some staff very good some just too rushed to have time to care. Reception staff generally helpful, but everyone seemed to be trying to do everything. Overall not great.
