"Shame about the Mains !"
Had the cheese fritters to start with and they were excellent, as was the crème brûlée for the desert.
We both had the fish and chips - one small and one large. The difference In sizes compared to the difference in cost just wasn’t right. Having said this, the fish is clearly frozen with that identifiable “slimy taste” and the batter with the headline of being made with a “secret recipe” was extremely disappointing.
Service was good though, but a little more atmosphere would be welcome.
