"Unfortunately not as good as previous Afternoon Teas"

Four of us were really looking forward to a celebratory afternoon tea for a friend’s 65th birthday. We’ve been quite a few times before and really enjoyed our visits with an excellent selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Unfortunately this time the scones were very chewy and the cakes were below the standard that we had experienced before.
