"Disappointed. Menu we were offered was not evening menu advertised on website."

We asked for menus in bar while having a pre dinner drink , stressing that we had booked a table later in restaurant. The menu we were given was the bar and lounge menu not the evening menu. Querying this we were told this was the menu. This was disappointing as the options were not particularly to our taste for an evening meal, especially given the fact that my wife’s options were limited due to an allergy. We would certainly have chosen options such as the Venison steak or Blade of beef advertised on the menu on the website. Meal was cooked to an adequate standard.
